Configuring Management Users for Media Cluster

Management users are configured in the Local Users table (see Configuring Management User Accounts) of the Signaling Component. These users are also applicable for the Media Components. Therefore, accessing the Media Components' management interfaces should be done using the same username and password used for accessing the Signaling Component.

The Signaling Component transfers its Local Users table to the Media Components upon the following conditions:

When the Media Components connect to the Signaling Component.

■

When you modify (edit or delete) the table of the Signaling Component (any change causes a transfer of the entire table to the Media Components).

If you modify the Local Users table of a Media Component, the new configuration on the Media Component remains until one of the conditions above occurs.
